The Bucktown Arts Fest is a non-profit, all volunteer-run, neighbourhood celebration of the arts. All proceeds from the Fest go to fund, develop and support arts education programming at Holstein Park and in the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighbourhoods (Chicago, USA).

Celebrating its 31st year in 2016, the Bucktown Arts Fest has grown to become a neighborhood tradition and one of the city’s – and the country’s – premier arts festivals showcasing close to 200 participating artists, plus countless musicians, dancers, poets & performers and attracting more than 40,000 visitors annually.

Create an original artwork in your media that you think best exemplifies the Bucktown Arts Fest and submit it in JPG format. All artwork must be 11x17 or must scale to 11x17.

No more than 3 entries may be submitted by any one entrant.

There is no entry fee.

Eligibility

The contest is open to everyone worldwide.

Prize

Winners will receive a 200 USD cash prize and complimentary admission to the 2016 festival and will have their poster displayed on all Fest materials, including the Bucktown Arts Fest website, 2016 festival materials (posters, t-shirts, postcards, program), collateral, press releases and signage.
