Reebok is asking you to imagine, design, and tell them what they could do for women other than sports shoes, clothes, accessories, equipment, training classes & sports clubs. No limit to your creativity!. Keeping in mind the brand’s territory - "Having fun staying in shape" create a design, sketch, drawing, picture, text or description of the new product Reebok could come up with on the market that would appeal to women. The target is 18-25 years old women (and on a larger scale 18-35) who are individualistic, active, feminine, practicing individual sports. Your imagination has no limit, you can extend the brand to anything you think might please that target! Just make sure to address the right audience and integrate the brand’s territory & tone in your submission. 1st Prize: 1 500 €, 2nd Prize: 500 €, 3rd to 10th Prize: 250 € each.

   
 

Porch Shed Design Competition 2010

This your chance to enhance the appearance and functionality of the garden studio, garden office or workshop. A porch, balcony, verandah or deck at the entrance to a shed forms the transition between the garden and the interior space. In the winter months it is a spot to get shelter from the rain while you fumble for your keys, in the summer months it becomes a glorious place to sit outside enjoying the garden or lazing in your hammock with a long cool drink. Porch designs come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes so use your imagination to come up with the ultimate porch for a shed, it may be a simple classic design or a complete wrap around, it could be very clean lines or richly decorated the choice is yours. The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 (as of 01 Mar 2010) in any country worldwide, except where prohibited. No entry fee.

They are the holder of hundreds of collegiate licenses and are a licensee of Minor League baseball, the US Olympics, the PGA. Vote For Art hosts graphic design contests at major universities, where the winning design based on votes from the public is sold at the University bookstore. VoteForArt has held contests for Purdue University, Arizona State University, University of North Dakota, University of Maryland and are currently holding contest for Oregon State University. Oregon State University is looking for a cool, never-before-seen design to kick off the football season. Blow the Beavs away with your creativity and originality for a chance to see your winning design sold in the OSU Bookstore. The winner will also earn $500 cash and a $200 gift certificate to the OSU Bookstore. You do not need to be a student to submit. All submissions are welcome. Design Exchange National Student Design Competition

The Design Exchange (DX) is Canada’s National Design Centre with a mission to promote Canadian Design. The DX has partnered with Random House of Canada Limited on an exciting competition that challenges Canadian post-secondary design students to design a new and unique logo to brand New Face of Fiction titles, to be applied to all New Face of Fiction paperback book covers from 2011 and beyond. The logo should embody what New Face of Fiction stands for and should be recognizable as a symbol of excellence for readers. The New Face of Fiction program will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2011. The NFOF alumni include Ann-Marie MacDonald, Yann Martel, Mary Lawson, Gail Anderson-Dargatz, Dionne Brand, Lori Lansens and Ami McKay. Winners will also receive cash prizes, a Random House library of books, and will be exhibited at the Design Exchange this spring. There is no entry fee to participate in this competition.

   

2010 Natural Talent Design Competition

USGBC's Natural Talent Design Competition provides applied learning experience in the principles of integrated design, sustainability, and innovation, all of which are components of the LEED Green Building Rating System. Participants compete in local competitions, and the top winner of each moves on to compete for a national award at USGBC’s annual Greenbuild International Conference & Expo. Awards include green building scholarships, as well as travel and registration to Greenbuild, where finalists’ entries are displayed and final judging occurs. Registration rates are $25 per student team and $50 per emerging professional team, but will increase to $50 and $75, respectively, after March 1st. Open to USA only.

   

SMPS National Marketing Communications Awards

The SMPS National Marketing Communications Awards (MCA) program is the longest-standing, most prestigious awards competition that recognizes excellence in marketing communications by professional services firms in the design and building industry. Now in its 33rd year, this competition is open to both SMPS Members and Nonmembers, US and International Firms. Materials completed between January 2008 and December 2009 will be accepted for the 2010 competition. First-, second-, and third-place and small-firm winners (as appropriate) will be announced on stage at the Awards Gala on July 15, 2010, during the 2010 SMPS National Conference.

   

France Postal Service Design Packaging Contest

A new design contest has launched on eYeka for France’s postal service. Win up to 6,600 euros to create its new holiday packaging! The new design/packaging, will be sold in all postal offices and used by the whole French population in 2010 for every holiday! It’s up to you to bring your "festive, celebration, present, holiday" spirit to this design! Be imaginative, trendy, sober, off beat… Make sure we want to send and receive your package and that it reflects the desire to make people happy. Create the exterior design, but also don’t hesitate to imagine its interior (see guidelines). Early Bird Prize: 4 prizes of 150 euros. 4 designs will be selected among the creations submitted before January 30th. First Prize : 3 000 euros. One design selected among the creations submitted between January 18 and March 29, 2010. Most voted: 10 prizes of 300 euros. For the 10 most voted designs between March 30 and May 17, 2010. The contest is open worldwide. There is no entry fee.

   

Create For Tate International Contest

RELEASE is a design competition created by CultureLabel.com to hunt out innovative new product designs for museum and gallery shops. The 2010 edition of the competition, sees CultureLabel.com and Tate collaborating to hunt out two innovative new product designs to be produced and sold in Tate’s shops, at Tate online and on CultureLabel.com. Not only will the winner see his or her designs on sale in Tate’s shops, the winner is eligible for £500 cash prize and a revenue share from sales of the product. The entrance fee is £5 ($8) and the competition is open worldwide to entrants over the age of 18.

   

3 Free Passes For The European Design Festival

Graphic Competitions, in partnership with the prestigious annual European Design Awards, offers 3 free passes (worth 420 Euro each) for the European Design Festival 2010. The Festival will take place in Rotterdam (Netherlands) during the last week of May. The three-day ED-Conference will be hosted at the De Doelen Congress Centre starting on May 28th. All you have to do is submit your data, all the requests will participate in a draw on Sunday 31 January. Winners will be announced on February 1st, 2010. Please send your request only if you are sure you’ll attend the event. Entry is free.
