INDEX is calling for faculty, students, and recent graduates to participate in the upcoming Design Challenge, developed in close collaboration with and endorsed by UNICEF.

The theme of this year’s challenge is Designing for Education, a call to develop design solutions that improve education and the educational environment in developing regions.

A design challenge is an excellent way to get creative minds to produce their very best examples of solution-based design, since education is one of the ways out of poverty for developing countries.

    Eligibility

The challenges target students from all the design disciplines. There are no restrictions on the type of solutions that students may submit. Print design, Web applications, environment design, physical devices, data presentation tools, and other approaches are all encouraged, as are proposals for the conceptual framework or method of dissemination that may propel these designs into public consciousness.

    Prize

The jury will choose a winner among the finalists. The winner will be bestowed with a monetary award of 6,500 Euro.
