The LensCulture Exposure Awards 2017 aim to discover and showcase the world's best contemporary photographers, including all genres of photography, and from diverse cultures on every continent. Now in its 8th year, the competition will help photographers of all levels gain global recognition and move forward creatively and professionally.

The Awards are open to all types of photography and all levels of expertise, and they are divided in two sections:

    • Series Awards (up to 10 photos)
    • Single Image Awards

For good image quality and fast upload, your image files should be less than 10 Mb each, and sized to a maximum of 2000 pixels on the long side. The international jury will review each of the photos on screen only.

You can submit as many times as you like (assuming you have lots of great images and you can afford to pay the entry fees for all of them). It is suggested, however, that you edit your photos wisely and send only your very best.

There are no time-based restrictions concerning when a photo was taken, and all photographers retain full copyrights for their own work.

    Entry fees:

    • 60 USD (related series of up to 10 photos)
    • 50 USD (5 single photos)
    • 20 USD (1 single photo)

Current students and recent graduates get a 30% discount on the entry fee.

    Eligibility

Open to professional and amateur photographers worldwide over 18 years of age.

    Prize

Three cash-prize winners (5,000, 3,000, 1,500 USD) will be selected for the Series Awards, and three cash-prize winners (3,000, 1,500, and 1,000 USD) will be selected for the Single Image Awards.

In addition, 25 finalists will be displayed on the Winners’ page in LensCulture, and winners and finalists will be featured at Photo London 2017, one of the largest and most prestigious annual photo event for international collectors.

Moreover, 5 student photographers will be selected by the international jury to receive the Student Spotlight Award.
