    The International Photography Awards conducts an annual competition for professional, non-professional, and student photographers on a global level, creating one of the most ambitious and comprehensive competitions in the photography world today.

    The International Photography Awards recognizes and awards photography’s leading talents who are creating, shaping and changing the world of photography today.

    There are eleven main categories:

    • Advertising
    • Architecture
    • Book
    • Deeper Perspective
    • Editorial
    • Event
    • Fine Art
    • Moving Images
    • Nature
    • People
    • Special

    Professional photographers will be judged against other professionals and non-professionals against other non-professionals and students. Digital submissions must be no larger than 800 pixels on the longest side and saved as Jpegs (.jpg), in RGB format and not exceed 4MB per file, at 72dpi.

    You may submit as many entries, in as many categories, as you see fit. All photographs should be no older than 5 years old.

    Entry fee:

    • Single Image Submission: $35 Professional; $25 Non-Professional; $15 Student
    • Series Submissions: $60 Professional; $50 Non-Professional; $30 Student

    Please note: early bird deadline is March 31, 2014 (10% discount). Selected developing countries get special discounts.

    Eligibility


    The International Photography Awards competition is open to any living photographer, 18 years of age or older, from any country.

    Prize


    • Photographer Of The Year Award: $10,000 cash prize
    • Discovery Of The Year Award: $5,000 cash prize
    • Deeper Perspective Photographer Of The Year Award: $5,000 cash prize
    • Moving Image Photographer Of The Year Award: $2,500 cash prize

    Moreover, each year the International Photography Awards invites an established curator to select 45 images from both the professional and non-professional pools of first, second, and third place winners to be exhibited in an exclusive show in Los Angeles, during the week leading up to the Tenth Annual Lucie Awards event. The Best of Show will then travel to various countries to be included in photo festivals, galleries, and other photography related events.
