The Lovie Awards 2013
The Lovie Awards is the only pan-European Award to honour the entire breadth of content created for the internet. The mission of the Lovie Awards is to recognise the unique and resonant nature of the European internet community - from Europe’s top web and creative networks and content publishers to cultural and political organisations and bedroom bloggers.
Now in its third year, The Lovie Awards continues to celebrate the most resonant and pertinent stories in Europe, those inside and outside of the prevailing trends.
The awards reflect the tremendous growth of the internet as a tool for business and everyday lives. This year outstanding achievement is recognised in over 80 categories, spanning every genre of the internet.
The five main types of entries are:
• Interactive Advertising & Media
• Online Film & Video
You may enter work in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German. There is no limit to the number of entries that may be submitted by any entrant, nor is there a limit to the number of categories you may enter.
Entry fee: from 100 Euro to 375 Euro.
Entry to the Awards is open worldwide to all organisations and individuals involved in designing, building, managing, maintaining, marketing or promoting content for European business, consumer or general audiences.
It’s not mandatory to be based in Europe to participate, but the work entered must be created on behalf of a European-based client or individual, for use by European web audiences.
All Gold, Silver and Bronze Lovie Award winners will receive a customised, engraved statuette to promote their achievements. Digital icons are also provided for winners' websites and/or publications.
All winners are celebrated at The Lovie Awards Winners’ Party in London, during the Internet Week Europe: 11-15 November 2013.
