The Columbia Threadneedle Prize invites submissions of paintings, drawings, original prints, sculpture, mixed media constructions, small scale installations and reliefs.

Artists are encouraged to submit fresh and intriguing figurative or representational works that are strong and topical observations on, or interpretations of, the world around us.

Works must have been completed after 1 January 2014; however they must not have been exhibited in any other prize or competition in the UK or elsewhere.

You may enter a maximum of six works. Works cannot be larger than 2.4 metres along the longest dimension. All works must be for sale.

The copyright and all other intellectual property rights will remain the property of the artist.

Entry fee is 15 GBP (approx. 23 USD) per work.

Eligibility

Open to artists aged 18 or over, presently living or working in the UK or Europe.

Prize

The Prize offers you the chance to win 20,000 GBP (approx. 31,600 USD) plus your own solo exhibition in the Threadneedle Space at Mall Galleries, London, UK.

The five other artists shortlisted will each receive 1,000 GBP (approx. 1,580 USD), while the winning artist voted by visitors to the exhibition in London, will receive the 10,000 GBP (approx. 15,800 USD) Visitors’ Choice Award.
