Art Directors Club 92nd Annual Awards
The ADC Annual Awards competition, currently in its 92nd year, recognizes the best work of the year in print and broadcast advertising, interactive media, graphic design, publication design, packaging, photography and illustration.
ADC’s Annual Awards has kept pace with the changing nature of visual communications since its inception in 1920. Strenuously and scrupulously judged, the not-for-profit ADC’s Annual Awards is one of the most venerable shows in the world.
Different fees apply for different types of entries. Student entries are charged $35 per entry in any category, except Integrated and some discounts are possible.
If you enter your work and check out on or before 31 December 2012, you receive a discount of 10%.
All entries must have been printed, published, aired, or broadcast live online for the first time between February 7, 2012 and February 4, 2013, in any country. Entries may be submitted by any company or individual involved in the creation or production of the work.
Students currently enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs in advertising, graphic design, photography, illustration, and digital media are eligible to enter the competition, and are invited to submit published or unpublished work in any category, except Integrated.
ADC Cubes, awarded to Black, Gold, Silver and Bronze winners, are true symbols of creative achievement.
There is no limit to the number of winners in a category, nor is there a minimum required. For Advertising medalists, complimentary Cubes will be presented to the primary Art Director and Copywriter. For Design, Motion and Interactive medalists, one Cube will be presented to the primary Art Director or Designer. In Photography and Illustration, Cubes will be awarded only to the Photographer or Illustrator. Additional Cubes may be purchased for clients and other contributing creatives.
Annual Awards winners will be posted on the ADC website. Announcements of the winners will appear in national and international advertising and design publications, both in print and online versions.
This year, Black, Gold and Silver winners will be honored in Miami, April 2-4. 2013. All entrants, judges, ADC members and friends are invited to attend this annual event. Bronze and Merit certificate winners will be published in the ADC Finalists List. Winning work will be exhibited in Miami and in subsequent ADC exhibitions and publications.
Duplicate exhibitions of the year’s winning work will travel to corporate and municipal galleries and universities throughout the world in the following year.
