PECOFacet, world leader in design, manufacturing and distribution of advanced filtration and separation systems, announces the PECOFacet International Painting Competition.
The theme must be linked to filtration systems, especially in the markets that the company operates in: Aviation, Naval, Industrial, Environmental, and Petrochemical.
It is essential that any art piece presented is unique, original and must have neither been presented at any other contest nor created in class, as group work, in a workshop or under professional supervision.
Each artist may present one original signed piece measuring a minimum of 120 x 120 cm. and a maximum of 150 x 150 cm. The finalist selected pieces must be presented on a single panel and framed by a wooden strip that does not exceed 2cm in width.
From 1st to 12th September, 2015, the jury will preselect a maximum of 15 pieces from those in the participant pool. These selected artists will have to present their pieces physically, which must be submitted by 15th October, 2015 the latest.
There is no entry fee.
Eligibility
The contest is open to any adult artist from all over the world.
Prize
The following prizes will be awarded:
• PECOFacet Grand Prize: 6,000 Euro (approx. 6,670 USD)
• PECOFacet Ibérica Prize: of 4,000 Euro (approx. 4,450 USD)
An awards ceremony will be held at the PECOFacet Iberica offices on the first fortnight of December, where the aforementioned prizes will be awarded (attendance to the awards ceremony is obligatory to obtain the prize).
