Engine Room

mtvU and HP are teaming up for a new series to air on MTV worldwide. It will pit creative minds from around the planet against each other in a battle of digital art skills that will include graphic design, animation, mixing sounds, filmmaking and more. The winning team will take home $400,000 USD in cash and HP products. We want to see your graphics, short films, web pages, songs, mixes or anything else cool you have created. You must be available from July 18, 2008 through August 16, 2008 to be flown to New York City to compete. Applicants can upload their work to MTVEngineroom.com. You must apply as an individual.

Animations for Organic Snack Company

The Snikiddy Snacks Brand, along with the Snikiddies, is an exciting, trusted voice delivering quality, organic products that will ultimately address all snacking occasions. The Snikiddies are to be the voice of the Snikiddy Brand. It is time for the Snikiddies to come to life for future communication and brand development. The first step in this process is to have each animated kid introduce themselves. You have to make six 10-15 second animated clips, one for each character, of the characters introducing themselves.

Balls to Bullfighting T-shirt Design Contest

Don't Panic and The League Against Cruel Sports are working on together. The 'Balls to Bullfighting' campaign aims to bring an end to bullfighting, and wants artists to create a t-shirt design appropriate to the message. The winner will see their design worn worldwide, sold in various independent fashion boutiques around London and also on the LACS's website, with proceeds going towards furthering the cause. Entrants are encouraged to create a powerful design, stretching the creative parameters of the brief while keeping their individual style at the forefront. We want a design that will be worn proudly to show support and not just another typical slogan design.

"Pattern Battle" T-Shirt Design Competition

Allmightys.com has launched a new t-shirt design competition. The name of this new edition is: "Pattern Battle". Make sure you design the actual size (A3+ maximum) at at least 250 dpi. You can use up to 4 colours for the design. Make sure your design does not include gradients. The design must be your own intellectual property and you must have the exclusive copyright and right of use. Three winning designs + three special selections will be printed on T-Shirts and will be offered for sale. The designers of all winning T-Shirts also receive a free tee and a share of the sales price. Their profile will also be included in the Designer section of the Allmightys' website.
