SEGD Global Design Awards 2012
-
Now in its 25 year, the annual SEGD Global Design Awards Program was established in 1987 to recognise the highest standards in environmental graphic design. The program illustrates the pandisciplinary nature of visual communications in the built environment and its important role in providing context, a strong sense of place, and navigational aids through complex human-made environments.
Winning projects have included wayfinding systems in cities, health care and educational environments, transportation facilities, and commercial complexes; branding and identity work and themed environments; retail and interior projects; exhibition design; media architecture and dynamic information environments; and public art installations.
Awards are conferred by multidisciplinary international juries. Entries are encouraged from any application that can benefit from graphic communications: dynamic environments, office/workplace environments, leisure/entertainment, educational/institutional, transportation, retail/commercial, residential, urban/cityscape, exhibition design/museums and galleries, zoos and aquaria, tradeshow/events/temporary spaces, master plans/planning/research, sustainable environments, etc.
Entries must be received by SEGD no later than midnight on January 31, 2012. Late entries must be received no later than midnight on February 14, 2012 and will incur a late fee of $50 per project. No entries will be accepted after February 14, 2012.
