Sacred Heart Community Service Design Contest
Goodjoe is fighting poverty this Thanksgiving season, one t-shirt at a time. The San Jose-based apparel brand kicked off the season for giving with the launch of its "Design For a Greater Good" t-shirt design contest benefiting Silicon Valley-based Sacred Heart Community Service (SHCS), a non-profit organization whose mission is to unite a community to ensure that every child and adult is free from poverty. Students, designers and even your average Joe’s are invited to submit designs that reflect the organization’s mission. The winning design will be selected by SHCS staff based on how much it excites people about the cause. The winning designer will receive a plaque issued by SHCS to honor the artist’s contribution to end poverty, a plaque for their school (if they are currently a student), $300 from Goodjoe, and a collection of the brand’s collectible “Design of the Week” t-shirts.
